The mission of The United Methodist Church is "to make
Disciples of Jesus Christ."*
The Salisbury District
exists to facilitate this mission through providing Administrative, Educational, Missional, and Spiritual support to the local
churches, appointed pastors, church staff, and members within the District.
The District Superintendent and the Administrative Assistant are the only ones whose physical workspace is in the
District office; however, the Salisbury District is actually comprised of the nearly 20,000 United Methodists that hold their
church membership with our local churches. We work together for one common goal. To go and make disciples.
We are the church, the body of Christ!
