Our facilities include the
District Superintendent's office and the Administrative Assistant's office. Additionally, we have two conference
rooms that are available for use by District Committees, church committees, or other small groups of clergy and/or laity.

The Salisbury District is made up of 65 Churches, primarily in Rowan
and Cabarrus Counties. (There are a couple UM churches in those counties in the Lake Norman District, and we have one
UM church in our district that is just over the Iredell county line plus one in Stanly County). We have 66 appointed
pastors serving those churches.

Administrative Assistant Ravonda C. Britt

Ravonda Britt has been the Administrative Assistant for The Salisbury District since
1991. She is the face and the voice of the district for any and all visitors who come our way. With
a Secretarial Science Degree from Salisbury Business College, Ravonda manages the office, the District Superintendent's schedule,
communication with the clergy and laity of the district, as well as the paperwork concerning charge conferences and statistical
reporting. Additionally, she is the District Treasurer. She and her three sons, (Joshua,
Patrick, and Lucas) live in Salisbury.

District Superintendent Rev. Dr. Nancy Rankin
|
|
The Rev. Dr. Nancy Burgin Rankin, daughter
of a United Methodist Pastor, received her BA from High Point College in 1981 and her Master of Divinity from Duke in 1984.
She served as Associate Pastor of Mt Tabor in Winston Salem, Pastor of Oak Grove in Charlotte and then Central
in Concord. She completed her Doctor of Ministry at United in 1996 and began serving as District Superintendent
of the Statesville District the same year. In 2001, she returned to local church ministries as the Senior
Pastor of University City in Charlotte. Following this, she served as the Conference Director of Congregational
Development for four years and then in 2008 was appointed to Blair Road in Mint Hill. She was appointed as the District
Superintendent of the Salisbury District in 2011. She and her husband Terry, live in Charlotte. They have 2 grown children--a son who has 2 children, and a
daughter who has three children.
